Project Description:

New 73,000 Pre-K elementary school. 24 room facility includes a cafeteria, kitchen, gymnasium, library, administrative offices and an outdoor playground. Mechanical systems included a central thermal utility plant complete with chilled water and heating water production and distribution. The state-of-the-art facility, designed specifically for young learners – pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. The teachers, administrators and staff members work together to nurture and guide each child’s progress with the mission of developing life-long learners. The Center was named for Anita Uphaus, a teacher and key administrator, who spent 32 continuous years providing guidance and leadership to students, teachers and families throughout the Austin Community.

Jose I. Guerra Inc. provided complete mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design and construction administration services.
