Montopolis Water Reclamation Initiate (WRI) Storage Reservoir – Austin, Texas
Project Description:
Our team played a significant role in the design and construction of the Montopolis Water Reclamation Initiative. The project consisted of a pre-engineered concrete tank with steel liner supported by a concrete slab. We provided the performance specifications for the tank design and the detailed design of the concrete foundation. With thorough coordination with the City of Austin officials, we also customized the designs for the concrete vaults, ladders, hatches and other auxiliary structures. The contribution from our structural team was instrumental to the success of the project during construction phase. We delivered rapid responses to multiple design changes requested by the City of Austin.
Our efforts resulted in a final construction that satisfied the latest City safety requirements without delay to the construction schedule.
