RRISD District Wide High Mast Light Pole Investigations – Round Rock, Texas
Project Description:
Our firms Senior Structural Project Manager was the lead investigator into the cause of the collapse of one of four 130 foot tall high mast light poles at the Round Rock ISD Parmer Sports Complex. The subsequent investigation, observation and report preparation for the initial assessment lead to a district wide investigation, and a long term monitoring plan, of all light poles in the RRISD inventory. It later resulted in recommendations for the retrofitting of light poles for the RRISD.
