Plumbing & Fire Protection Engineer – Austin
BSME, BSFPE, or related engineering discipline, Texas P.E. License, and minimum 6 years experience. As most of the work will be performed using AutoCAD, Revit, and MS Outlook, Word, and Excel, proficiency in these programs is required. Candidate must possess good communication, people, organizational, and administrative skills.
Responsibilities will include the design of sanitary and chemical waste and vent, rainwater, domestic hot and cold water, reclaimed water, laboratory pure water, natural gas and propane, medical gases and vacuum, and compressed air systems; as well as fire standpipe, wet-pipe, dry-pipe, pre-action, and chemical fire-suppression systems; for commercial, industrial, institutional and/or health care projects. Candidate will be expected to interact positively with clients, engineers, and support staff.
Candidate will report to the Austin office and be responsible for the design and construction administration of various challenging plumbing and fire protection engineering projects.
