Civil CAD Designer – Austin

Civil CAD Designer: The Guerra team is seeking a Civil CAD designer to join our firm. As a Civil CAD designer, you will develop and provide Civil CAD design documentation for a diverse range of construction projects including municipal, higher education, K-12, industrial, aviation / airport and commercial projects of all sizes and complexities throughout the state of Texas.

• Proficient knowledge and prior experience using Civil 3D is mandatory. Applicants must be able to describe in detail prior experience with creating TIN surfaces, utilizing civil 3D grading tools, creating 3D pipe networks pipe networks and generate plan and profiles.
• 5+ years’ experience in Civil design using AutoCAD Civil 3D
• Ability to use pipe networks and develop utility plans and profiles
• Understanding of site grading, accessibility and drainage
• Ability to use topographic information and survey data to develop TIN surfaces
• Ability to use 3D grading tools, feature lines, elevation datum to develop proposed grading plans
• Understanding of plan production and record drawings

• Responsible for the CAD design for civil engineering on medium to large-scale complex projects.
• Prepare Civil construction documents and drawings
• Work closely with the design team to deliver quality work
• Provide Civil 3D CAD support to project engineers

• Ability to interact with co-workers in a clear and professional manner.
• Self-motivated, demonstrating an attitude that communicates a professional level of commitment to the job responsibilities and work schedule.
