AUS International Airport WEST Parking Garage “Yellow Garage” – Austin, Texas
Project Description:
The New City of Austin, AUS International Airport “Yellow” Parking Garage is 7 floors with about 7,000–7,150 spaces (6,134 covered, 1,016 open) Dedicated entrance, stacked entry/exit ramps, and roadway realignment for faster access Open space detection system and dedicated EV charging stations Enclosed pedestrian bridge connecting to the Blue Garage for seamless terminal access. The Yellow Garage is being built on the site of the old Red Garage and will open in phases from 2026–2027, with full completion in 2027. It will replace the Red Garage entirely, which will be removed to make way for the northern expansion of the Barbara Jordan Terminal’s Arrivals & Departures Hall.
Services Provided:
Guerra Engineering is providing complete electrical and fire protection engineering design and
construction administration services. Structural engineering design services for Peer Review and Construction Phase Site Visits completed in June 2026.
