Austin Women’s and Children’s Shelter Expansion and Renovation – Austin, Texas

Project Description:

A 2,560 sq. ft New Daycare Center will be positioned northwest of the existing structure. A 4,200 sq. ft. Dwelling Wing addition located north to the existing entrance will contain six small bedrooms and four large bedrooms, living area and restrooms.

The existing Women & Children’s building, 9,510 sq. ft., renovations include changes to Wing A to accommodate more support spaces and Wing B to accommodate expanded common areas, computer lab and restrooms. Overall renovations include a new fire suppression systems and fire alarm systems throughout, code compliant ceilings in the kitchen areas, accessibility improvements and mechanical, electrical and plumbing repairs.

Jose I. Guerra Inc. provided complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design and construction administration services.
