Jose I. Guerra, Inc. provided the design phase to construction phase services to the Medium Service Pump Station of Davis Water Treatment Plant Treated Water Discharge System. The overall construction cost is $43 million for a water treatment capacity of 60 MGD (expandable to 120 MDG). The structure is an underground wet well approximately 155ft long x 80ft wide x 24ft deep into the ground. The pump station also includes a 2-story superstructure above the wet well that houses the electrical room and mechanical room. Our firm utilized our knowledge of the existing Davis Water Treatment Plant and provided valuable coordination advice to the design team.
