Project Description:

The project was a renovation of a 60 year old City of Austin Public Park that has a aquatic facility and a larger public park area. The scope of work included electrical design and specification for the required power distribution and lighting systems for the new bathhouse, site lighting for the pool decks and existing mechanical building as well as new exhaust fans and plumbing design for the new bath house and upgrades to the the existing mechanical building plumbing. The Civil scope included the site civil design, the design of rain gardens and erosion repair and drainage improvements.

The Civil team provided TPDES consulting services, including the preparation of  Storm Water Pollution Prevention Plan (SWPPP). Civil services for this project required the application and submission of the design documents for review with the AULCC (Austin Utility Coordination Committee) for construction within the right-of-way. This included attending the AULCC meetings and coordinating with the public utility stakeholders to ensure proposed utilities were not in conflict with existing or future utility infrastructure work.
