Project Description:

The project was a complete restoration and enhancement of the historic Texas State Cemetery grounds including construction of a grand new entrance with granite columbarium wall and wrought iron gates, the addition of a new reflection pond and water feature and the addition of a new visitor’s center/museum building and new outside pole lights.

Jose I. Guerra Inc. provided complete structural, mechanical, electrical, and plumbing engineering design and construction administration services.

Winner of Texas Society of Architects 1997 Design Award, winner of AIA San Antonio 1997 Design Award and State Historic Registry
