Project Description:

The 20,000 square foot Learning Commons, located in the Perry-Castañeda Library, opened at the start of the 2015 fall semester. The Learning Commons creates a  cross-campus collaborative space to support developments in student learning styles and needs at The University of Texas at Austin.  The renovation was the largest transformation of space since the library originally opened and includes five technology-rich classrooms for adaptive, collaborative learning techniques, a 44-seat media lab with high-end software, and consultation and meeting areas available to all students and faculty.

Jose I. Guerra Inc. provided complete mechanical, electrical and plumbing engineering design and construction administration services.
